A Feeler: Turbo & injectors

    OK, this is just a feeler but a serious one. I am starting to think about upgrading my turbo and injectors. I am thinking something like vf39 or close to it and sti injectors. Let me know what you have.

    No, it's decent. You're going to need a FMIC or big TMIC. You have a Walboro fuel pump?

    Have your stock injectors modified.:)

    STi take off TMIC or Ebay, talk to Russ about intake temps and his TMIC. After listening to him at FS I was a believer.

    I know that The guy that owns tintmasters. He lives in Fargo, was at one time selling his old set up of a VF-39 with an external wastegate. If I was you I would call him.

    yeah i will pay 300 for a low, low mileage vf39 or 200 or less for higher millage one.

    Good luck getting your hood scoop shrouding to seal against an eBay TMIC. Those big eBay ones have way more heat capacity becuase they're bar-and-plate designs but that only matters if you're sitting still on a dyno.

    vf-39s go for up 400, i would say 325 is average price you expect to pay.

    Low mileage ones on Nasioc are going for around 400 to 450.

    16G - 700
    Injectors - 250-350
    Fuel pump - 90-100
    Wide band - 200-300
    BOV- 200
    Heat shield - 50-75
    Ebay TMIC - 75
    Misc. parts - 50-100
    Tune - 150-300

    and just to let you know a good tune will run you over 300 bucks. if you want to have it protuned.
