I got to work at about 5:30am this morning because I couldn't sleep and thought I would take a few pics in the parking lot.
I'm working with a POS point and click camera- so I did a bit of photoshopping. Enjoy.

    Nice

Nice. Gotta love them early am shots, mine usually come around 5:00 am as well before work. Do you have oem bulbs or something that is whiter or is it just the pic?

It just looks that way in the pic- I'm pretty sure they're regular OEM bulbs. I did some tweaking with the levels.

Well, as poser as it is, my first round of plans is purely cosmetic. I'm in a bit of a different spot that most people (I'm assuming anyway) on this forum. I've got my first kid on the way in late January, so the $ will be in shorter supply than I have been used to. My plan for the driveline is to leave it stock until it is paid off -simply for reliability reasons. This is my first boxer AND my first forced induction car - and I don't like to phuk with anything until I fully understand how everything works -and my options for modifications. I've definately got more questions than I have answers about things like turbo modifications and fuel management so I figure I better just leave those alone until I learn enough about them to even begin to mess around.

Cosmtetically though, I am going to get the car re-sprayed because the paint is in EXTREMELY rough shape, throw on some aggressive home made- rally style mudflaps (probably have one of my vendors water jet cut them), a set of Morettes, 2004 STi gold wheels, some light tint and maybe a front lip. I've already ordered an amber set of Hella fogs, and will be making a bracket for them in the next couple weeks.

    Nice

Congrats on the wee one. I wouldn't consider it "Poser" at all for it all adds up in the end. Most of my mods have been cosmetic other than some prodrive springs on stock struts and even that is partially cosmetic. Plenty can be done cosmetically for cheap as well.

Been looking at the Hella bulbs myself, post up some night pics when you get them installed!
