I was thinking about this over the last couple of days, but how complicated would it be to incorporate a review forum for the different products/vendors that we've worked with?

It is pretty easy to add a new subforum (just a couple clicks for Russ). However, I know Russ was looking at implementing a "review" thing where you could review members and leave comments about transactions (kind of like NASIOC).

Are you thinking of this type of stuff (user to user comments, and to vendors if they have login accounts), or some vendor/shop specific comments?

How would you propose this forum be moderated (if at all) from accusatory posts, false reports, etc? Or should it be prefaced with a "read at your own risk/take what you read here with a grain of salt?" In which case, wouldn't it function similarly to the scammers forum, only without positive feedback (which could certainly be addressed in another way).

I could see this maybe working with a parts review forum. As for a vendor/seller/buyer review forum, I think we would be better served with the scammer forum and some kind of points or vouch system (seller/buyer rating).

Sure. I'd be more concerned with parts review than vendor reviews myself.

One way you could help get the ball rolling with this is to search for any past "parts review" threads. Then all Russ needs to do (if the mod team thinks this is a good idea) is create a new forum and move the threads you've indexed into this forum.
