I just want to put out a warning for every one. After we took delivery of our new Forester we got a strange document from SOA with additional security Gold Plus warranty 3y/45K miles with $100 deductible purchased for us by the dealer in the beginning of April free of charge. I thought maybe this is how SOA warranty work, but this WILL prevent you from buying a longer Gold plus warranty if you decided to do it.. Thanks
Double check your Purchase Agreement. It should be listed on there as to who actually paid for the service, and if you didn't, go back and inform them you never agreed to the contract. Which dealership was this from?
It was one in Burnsville. I don't want to say there name specifically at this moment. There is a thread I created on SubaruForester.org You could look it up. This is just a warning if somebody got something like it in the mail after they took delivery.
