Anybody got these and how good or easy to use are they? Any other software recommanded? Pretty much what I need it to do is just basic Video Editing, cut & paste, add music tracks to video, minor effects, etc...I would like a software that has a lot of Tracks. Just getting started in Video Editing. Saw these 2 software bundled for $149 and thinking is it worth it.
Those two actually are pretty great for photo and video editing for most people. Adobe stripped them of some of the advanced features but left the core essentials there. I've used the full versions of both for several years now and got to play with PS Essentials and saw that most of the common features I used in the full version were still in Essentials. Adobe was smart to pare these down to make them more affordable for consumers. The other upside to using Essentials as opposed to some other cheap options is that it does give you a bit of a feel for the way Adobe apps are laid out in case you ever decide to take things to the next level.
