After market Steering Wheel

    Does any one have a opinion, I am looking to get one, I like the look of the squared off bottom. The only thing holding me back is the lack of airbag. Does anyone have a picture, or know where to get one?? Is it easy to install, knowing I am half retarded when it comes to mechanical things.:eek4:

    Losing the airbag isn't worth looks IMO. Sparco would be one company to look at.

    Lol me too.... Ive learned from my install dont buy ebay steering wheels... theres a reason why they cost 29.99...

    Ray, it's not an issue in your car unless you're sitting in the drivers seat and a semi comes barreling through your garage.

    Why stop at a firetruck? A train could come off the tracks and into your garage...Or a tank piloted by an escaped felon trying to escape from the police. A 747 could plummet into your garage, or the International Space Station could de-orbit and come down smack into your front end. God Himself could reach dow...I think you get the idea :laugh:

    I would Highly recommend Personal Steering wheels. I use a Fittipaldi and I love it.

    Installation is pretty easy: you'll probably need a steering wheel pulling thingy to get the wheel off.

    MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT THE BATTERY AND WAIT 10 MINUTES
    before you play with the air bag. They hurt....

    then you need a hub too.

    Nope. Well behind on the caffiene curve, I just tried to bludgeon a tech and I can't for the life of me remember why. Just an overactive imagination ;)

    now remember brian...there is only 3 08 WRX in exsistance right now until august...lol How overactive hyper u r I might just stand clear when u get in one...;)

    I'm not hyperactive at all right now. Think me running about 3/4 speed with a tendency towards crankiness :)

    I haven't wrecked anything at a Ride and Drive yet ;)
