so i went into the dealer today to have my air bag fixed, i picked up the car and noticed they used a screw driver to pry up the dash, leaving chunks taken out of my dash in front of the steering wheel SMH. i made them order a new dash at no charge. PEOPLE BE WARNED check you car after repair!!!!! NOT COOL TECHS.
Yea but its good to know where you took it so you know where to avoid for recall work. I bought my brz from there and was not impressed with anything other then the parts department.
Yeah, when I had my passenger side done on my LGT there were a couple small imperfections afterwards. I'm not sure why techs can't discern the difference between a dashboard that we look at all the time when we are driving the car and the differential that most of us seldom look at and really don't care if it has a scratch on it. One of the things on mine was an abrasion on the leather steering wheel that happened when they lifted the dash pad out over the wheel. Fer Christ's sake, drop the steering wheel to its lowest position and throw something over it to protect it. You shouldn't have to ask the service writer to remind the tech that the owner of THIS car is a fussy bastard and take extra care so you don't phuck up something. The same amount of care should be taken with every customer car regardless of what it looks like when it is presented for service.
I had the recall done on my OB at Walser but they refused it on the LGT. I’ve bought cars and had service there, it’s hit or miss as best.
I took mine to Morrie's Minnetonka and had no issues there. The only thing that happened was the plastic cover for the passenger side A pillar was not all the way connected. Just had to put some elbow grease into it and it popped right back on.
Yup, we had an airbag recall done there. The glove box now emptys everything onto the floor. The hazard button and cigarette lighter now do not operate.
“Good news, we got that rattle taken care of for you! Oh yeah, the rest of your dash is in that box on your back seat. No need to thank us! You’re welcome!”
I've driven a couple Subarus with the dash removed. You'd be incorrect as there will still be **** rattling.
Yep, brand new 2018's still rattle! I mean honestly, the door cards even rattled with the stock crappy subaru spec speakers.
When I was looking for a WRX and an STi I went here. I was disappointed both times. I got a valuation of $17k on my 2 year old WRX, which I sold for $21k at Morries Minnetonka. I would never step foot in this dealership again. Morries Minnetonka is where it's at. I bring my car there for service when needed. Great dealership.
