air sounds?

    i was wondering if anyone else has have this trouble before... everything time i get into my car and start driving at about 40 mph it sounds like air is coming in through the window but you can feel anything. but when you put the window down then back up again you can't hear the noise anymore.. just curious to see if anyone else has this problem.. and also would this be under my warrenty ( i have an 06 STI) thanks

    Yep... mine does that.. curse of the way the window has no pillar and seals on it car frame....

    doesn't that ever annoy you??? is there a way to fix it?

    It is an annoyance. But it's usually because the window doesn't seal on the ABC pillar gasket correctly. Check out the gasket and make sure it's not deformed or anything.

    My father in-law has an 07 Legacy and he had that problem really bad. He took it to the dealer and they "adjusted/realigned" the doors it seemed to work for the most part. Every now and again you still have to roll the window down and up again. But it did help quite abit.

    I have the same issue with my 03...I had the dealer realign it while car was under warranty. Helped a little.

    i have that in my 002.5RS. i just crank up the music a bit and it solves it.
