So, I just picked up a 2007 Forester that has an Autostart brand keyless entry and remote start system on it. This system is junk. The range is hoarse****, and for some reason the factory security system goes off unless I use the Autostart remote to lock and unlock the car. See sometimes I lock the doors with the button on the door and if I do that and then unlock the car with the Autostart remote the alarm goes off when I open the door. Anyways. Where I am going with this is I want to find a QUALITY installer that can help me either sort out the issues with this system or work with me on selecting a different system completely. And then one final question is do these cars have some sort of goofy anti theft system in them that would make installing my own remote start system difficult? Thanks
