hi. i'm about to lower my 04 wrx with prokits and was wondering if you guys could suggest what i should set the alignment to when i go to do it. i don't want an aggressive setting, as i don't plan to track my car, just something really tire friendly. maybe back to stock setting would be okay? i know 0 toe all around right? and for you guys that are lowered, are camber bolts in the rear really necessary? thanks guys.

I just went to Hoover Wheel Alignment at 207 Lowry Ave in Minneapolis, and I had my wheel alignment set at 1 degree negative for the front and .5 degree negative in the back. Zero toe. My front toe was off, and they corrected it for me. The car felt great afterwards. :D Best part is, they checked the back and it was fine... so they didn't charge me for the back. The reason I mention that, is because the other Hoover on E. Hennepin will begin charging you the second they start measuring your alignment... and there's not many alignment shops that will work on a car with modified suspension.

The Hoover at Hennepin Ave. was going to charge me about $100 and I had to leave the car with them for half a day. The Hoover at Lowry was going to charge me $100, but let me stay to watch. It took them about an hour (including the time it took them to finish two cars ahead of me), and I was only charged $34.95 for the alignment. They only worked on the front, so if they charged you double that, it is because they worked on all 4 wheels (Or maybe they only charge $35 for a 4-wheel alignment?) They initially told me $100 because they thought "modified suspension" meant 1" off the ground. All went well! :)
