What in the heck is that thing on the hood of Japanese cop cars that looks like a cheesy bug deflector? I have searched all over the internets and can't find out anything! Arrgh
Airflow director of some sort would be my guess, very bad placement on the Subaru though. Ted, that's a Mitsubishi, not a Nissan
the first huge pic is a nissan r34 gtr (skyline) the second one is a mitsu. gto (3000gt) and i have no idea what the deflector is for, but i guess no one gets away from the cops in japan with squad cars like those!
[QUOTE= skyline GTR: :yum: [ You got that damn right! I want one so freakin bad it's about the only reason for me going to college, so I can afford one.
Looks like a bug deflector to me. Back in the day, Cops didn't even bother once you're passed a certain mark. You'd be amazed at how fast 50 mph feels on a narrow Japanese highway. I can understand the police not wanting to engage in a 100mph chase... let physics and darwinism take their course. I wouldn't be surprised if it doubled as a bug deflector/HUD. I've never been inside a Japanese patrol car to know tho :dunno: Stupid placement for a HUD unit tho... they usually work better projecting onto the windshield from the inside. No guns in Japan. :wavey: Eli
Police cars here are only factory tuned. If you can do better than 180K they can't catch you, so they don't even try.
its obviously a billboard of sorts to tape odd japanese porn to (which is why sheen ignores it, he doesn't like tentacles)
