alternator question

    anyone know if the 2.2 Legacy alternator is has the same plug as the 2.2 impreza alternator?

    it's about a $100 difference to me, so....

    but to answer your question, the legacy one and impreza one have different part numbers, and i dont have an impreza one to compare to.

    I think they are different. They were for my 93 ej22t to my 2000 impreza 2.2. I am not sure about the 93 imprezas

    when i bought mines for my 95 1.8L....it used the same one for the ej22.....well..for the first gen legacy it fit....

    have you looked at your alternator plugs??? they might fit...
