Well The strut bars came today and I have some problems. The front one doesnt clear the airbox so i cant mount it. Dont worry, it gets worse. The mounting points are mysteriously missing in the trunk. I guess I just assumed they would be there like on my old honda. BUT NOOO!!!!! I pull back the trunk lining and all thats there is metal! I suppose it pays to look ahead.
here they are. I guess its the price you pay for going with cheap ebay stuff. When you can buy 2 bars for under $40 I suppose you cant expect perfect. If there is something I am missing in the pictures please point it out.

you need to remove the rear seats to access the rear strut tops.

two bolts below the lower seat by where your feet would be if you were sitting in the seat.

Then the back portion of the seat has 3-4 bolts near where the seat belt buckles are. Once they are out then you need to push the seat up to release the hooks at the top.

The rear seat belt mechanism may be in your way. They will be a pain when putting them back in. IMO fender braces would been a better buy.

    carefull taking the seat out.
you will scratch the **** out of your side skirts!

and when you are putting it back in, make sure you get the seatbelts all sorted out before hooking the rear in place.

Well the main reason i got them is because i had them on my Si and they were cheap easy and effective. I figured it would be the same for this.

Roflcopters!!! I bought a set front and rear for my 00 RS right before I sold it, both were $15 plus $15 shipping. Sold them to some guy in Canada for $100...... I felt dirty afterwords..... To make things worse, something was wrong with the Customs forms and he had to pay an extra $50.

++1 on making sure the seatbelts are sorted out.... After I put my fuel pump in I kinda forgot to make sure the belts were not under the seat.... Sold the car and I haven't received a phone call yet asking where they are.....
