I have 2 options available. $60 - Gallon of oil, extra quart of oil, 1 large subaru oil filter. With large filter it holds all 5 quarts. $47 - Gallon of oil, extra quart of oil, NO filter Let me know if you are interested. I have enough on had for 7 complete packages, or I can mix and match certain parts to complete other packages. I can also get anything else that Amsoil sells. Normally I sell it for my cost plus sales tax. If it is something that I need to special order or have drop shipped, there may be additional shipping charges. Honest opinion. Using my car as a dd and "bassing" occasionally, how long should my change intervals be with this oil? Thanks in advance.
I have been running this in my car since my first oil change in 2009. I usually run it 3.7k - 5k. When i was under warranty I ran it 3,750 per the booklet. Now I run 4k - 5k on the oil. Oil is the blood of your car. Even with a 25k oil like this I don't like to stretch it out. Russ always tells me I am crazy for throwing away money like that. I think he runs about 7k on his cars.
8-10k, or 2 times a year is what I do. I usually do it in the fall and spring and I am am right around the 8k mark. Been doing that with my last 3 subarus and never had any issues. 150k on the lgt and it doesn't use any oil (or anything worth noting) and 45k on the fxt and it doesn't use a drop. I have also sent in oil samples to make sure that at those marks, the oil is still functioning as designed. Russ

I'm doing an oil change soon when the odo hits 160000. I'll be contacting you soon. I've read the recommended oil threads on here adn am interested in trying AmsOil.
