    this is the splitting technique. i teach you! Tranny splitting to replace the bastard NA hydraulic clutch fork.

    Lol on the meat cleaver and the ratchet hammer.



    I use a gasket scraper with a sharp edge to get in there. On my beater wagon, the alignment pins were so rusted I had to actually use a cutting wheel to make a spot I could pry on.

    Trick I and a few others learned from experience: Remove the starter. At least one of those bolts is longer than it looks.

    Ha you should make a full length Subaru horror flick with that cleaver. I had to use about 4 paint scrapers wedged around the tranny to get the damn thing to move. P.s. the alignment pins are never fun on a 12 year old car

    I learned the cleaver trick from you awhile ago and it works awesome! I have used it a couple times w/ just my pocket knife huge time saver.
