That's just the aggressive camber setting for auto X.

Is this an epidemic, or is this the first time it's ever happened?

Can't judge an entire company based on one incident!

There have been a bunch of issues with the MR outback coils.
This is just the most dramatic failure.
Also MR's giving him the run-around on warranty (this happened less than a year after purchase)

The only time I have ever seen coilovers of any brand do that is when a budy was out drifting and slid into a curb at 50+mph. It broke WAY more then just that coilover at the same time.

That user needs to post up some more pics of the coil over himself.

I have Megan Racing rear adjustables on my 240. I just inspected the welds, and replaced all the bolts with grade 8 stuff and have not had any issues. With 12k miles of beating the **** out of my car.

Maybe it's just the currnet gen legacy stuff, but among thos eowners MR has a horrible, horrible reputation for failing and not fitting right.

I've heard that their exhaust products are junk. Cracking welds and all. I think Kent had this trouble(maybe).

Don't say that, I got them on the 240sx. It did pretty well over the weekend. But it will be replaced soon once she gets sorted out. I don't think I'll need that much camber though. LOL

Now that i think about it, this would be a good way to get more than -1 degree of camber on the Legacy/OB without camber plates

meh, stuff happens. I broke stock shocks like that.

There's probably a reason Megans are the cheapest coilovers money can buy

After pondering it for a day, I came to a conclusion, and that is **** happens. Nobody can be perfect in their manufacturing 100% of the time. Also, from the looks of things, the owner was not exactly nice to the vehicle. The picture was taken on a fairly rough dirt road with all-season tires, telling me he likes the dirt and off-road. Things break, and life goes on. Now is Meagan Racing told him to completely f-off without at least wanting to know what happened, I'd be a little perturbed.
