I don't even know what to say about this. http://www.autoblog.com/2012/03/07/the-next-big-thing-bridgestone-prints-patterns-on-tires/
"Bridgestone claims the outer most layer won't succumb to scrapes and scratches, and neither the durability or the weight of the tires are compromised by the technology." Well see about that one.
Nope, poke and stretch is still brutally retarded. At least these tires can be purchased in sizes that are correct and appropriate for the wheels they are on. IMO: 18x9 wheels with 215x40x18 regular tires = FAIL 18x9 wheels with 245x35x18 tires with plaid sidewalls = Quirky but still full of win.
I've always known this was coming. People like to express themselves more and more and it's always been hard to with the (usually) drab selections of car color. And car color only, typically. Pretty soon you will see these patterns all over the car, probably as a wrap, straight from the factory. Who wants to put money on it?
I like this. Why not have fun with tires? You could be completely original with designs of your own. Much better than just spray bombing your wheels......
I can see the advertising dollars already. Just think what may be designed with something like this in mind.
