When I originally put my name in, it was well over a year ago, if I recall. At that point, I think I was just put in queue. I then was invited to actually apply a month or so ago.
Same here! I think I first applied maybe a year and a half ago, then I got an email about being part of the #SubaruCrew on social media, then about two weeks later received the official invite to re-apply for the ambassador program, and finally the acceptance a week after that.
I have a box of Subaru swag on the way! I'll have a photo contest or something once I receive the goodies.
Same here! Is it bad I feel like I am supporting a horrible thing when I put a couple flat brims in the basket? Maybe I "pre-round" them...
Well, my first Ambassador package was due to arrive today, and I was notified via email that the package was delivered at 3:42pm, and I got home about 4:40 and the package was gone. Unfortunately, no surveillance cameras or anything like that, and most likely there will be no resolution. So frustrating and disheartening. EDIT: UPS driver tucked them in under the bushes below the stoop to protect them from the rain. Heart is no longer dissed, and 1st half of the gear is here. Whew.
Good to hear! I received my first shipment of swag today as well. Only one flat-brim in the box. The other is curved, lol.
There must be something, (or lack of something) in your application. I applied once and certainly put nothing special in mine.
That's the problem. I don't even get to submit an application. I can't get past the email stage. I just fill in my name and email address (have now used three different ones) and then get an email response with "sorry, we're currently not taking applications in your area" or something like that. Maybe I should just fill out another and put MPLS for my city...
Weatherly and I live like 5 blocks from each other in a small city of ~25k people so I don't get how they determine it based on location.
Random idea...worth having an "Ambassador meeting" over a beer or coffee somewhere central? I would like to put faces with (screen) names as well as kick around the idea of doing some community events together. That can be a tough part of our Subaru obligation at times and I thought, well, if there is group effort and accountability it might make things easier and more effective to reach more people for the brand. Early to mid-January maybe? Just thinking...-Rick
