Another blown engine

    Yep, had some fuel starvation at WOT under heavy load and bam, it let go. No compression at all anymore, looks like the rod let go, because when you try to start it, the engine will just spin with zeo resistance and keep spinning for a long time.

    Really didn't want to have to get a new snowblower right now.

    thats what happens when you go WOT for so long on those things...they just cant handle it

    mine doesnt have a governer anymore, i was winding the wee out it last night, i want it to stab a rod through the side of the block, maybe when i get a new blower.

    Actually, this one was 35+ years old. Thing was a tank. It caught a bank and tipped up a little, and the gas in the tank was getting low, and I think it starved and went lean.

    Gonna keep it and do a swap now. Maybe I should do an EJ257 STi snowblower ;)

    Still got 15+ years to catch up to this one...

    Got a line on a nice 8hp Tecumseh to swap in for the blown 5hp.
