That is awesome! I knew there had to be a reason why I've always loved Tool's music beyond just the fact that it sounds good. There's more to it.
I would, but I wouldn't know a theory such as this to even figure anything out. BUT, I do need to go out and buy the latest CD from Tool still.
I listened to it a couple weeks ago at Barnes and Noble, but for some strange reason didn't buy it. I think I didn't have the money to spend at the time, that has to be the only reason, there are no others.
This is cool. It's nice to see it spelled out, too. I've always liked bands that play with odd time signatures, too. Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Dream Theater, Tool...
Um, not even close. But I will say that they are probably the closest thing to a modern day Led Zepplin.
Maynard James Keenan Is a ****1NG GENIUS Tool will forever be my all time favorite band, I like to listen to the story in every track, not listen to the modern day tight pants wearing fagor talking about his night on the town.
yes IT IS fine, it just seemed like a pointless post that pissed me off, thats all. now if you will excuse me, I have drifting to do.
my dad went to a tool concert a while ago. he said it was the creepyest concert hes ever been to. duh! its not like his usual nickelback concerts he goes to..
so who needs to chill.... grow some balls and dont be such a little whiney sniffling b1tch... I wasnt even talking to you... it was a general comment about the topic... and it just happened to be after a post of yours... I have never listened to them... not interested.. but I watched the link and it is very interesting...
I love math. I used to teach myself calculus with books from the library. That video was cool, BUT...one of the pics was a screensaver in Voyager for like three seasons. It was always behind Seven of Nine in the Astrometrics Lab. I know, I'm a nerd...
= Its funny that we are fighting about this. opinions are what start wars. And in this case, a mistaken opinion was mistaken for an opinion "stomp", and for that misunderstanding, I am sorry. Tim
