Thinking of trying a different box for my subs, but don't have a table saw and don't feel like donating my right arm to a shop to do it for me. Wondering if there's any good builders with tools out there who would assist for some $$. Thinking of building a dual chamber 30-Hz tuned ported box spec'd for 2 Alpine SWR-1242D's (12" Type-R dual 4-ohm v.c.) to fit up under the rear deck lid in my 01 Impreza RS 4-door (probably rear-firing). Would also be interested in building something separate to mount the amps, caps, wiring, etc. too - not necessarily anything too fancy but it never seems to work that well mounting that stuff to the sub box. Any takers?
