Any interest in a dyno day?

    I was thinking it could be fun to set up a dyno day this summer, assuming we can find a local AWD dyno shop willing to host it.

    Would anyone be interested in attending, assuming cost is reasonable? Any suggestions on things to do or not do, based on past events?

    In the past rs in Burnsville has done a dyno day in the fall.

    We have had a number at RS in the past, I am sure Ron would be willing to do one again. But, like other said, during the fall will probably work best for everyone.

    Sounds good, I'll ping Ron and see if he would be down for the fall.

    Maybe we could use the event to help cover MNSubaru site maintenance fees? @WRX1

    Apparently the Dyno Dynamics unit like at DB Performance is an even bigger heartbreaker, but also the most accurate...

    Fall dyno day at RS is traditionally one of the "official" MNSubaru annual events. Nice to see some members stepping up to organize! I'd say if you want to run with it, get in touch with Russ. We could use more proactive member participation these days. :)

    LOL! That dyno's crushed my dreams before, too!

    I'm in. At the rate I've been going, my car will probably be at RS Motors anyway, getting some type of repair.

    No set dates yet other than 'fall sometime' :) @SurlyOldManMN, is there a particular month/date that this event was usually held on? Anyone recall what the cost was? Of course both date and cost will depend on what Ron's input :D

    Usually September'ish. Costs have historically been around $60-65 for 3 pulls and either RS or MNS springs for pizza type grub. I have a fall colors cruise date to pick around end of Sept/early Oct. Other than that I think it's pretty open.

    Sorry I missed seeing your post, I was on vacation :) Yes, it's looking good - We're currently thinking about a Saturday in mid-late September.
