Since I'm on the verge of buying a set of GC coilovers for my car, and have to replace the front Koni inserts (one's blown), I'd like to add a spacer to the bottom of the struts to help with stroke. The spacers look like this... ... and fit like this... More info about the theory behind these and why I want them can be found on NASIOC... http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=602326. Does anyone here know of anybody locally with the aptitude and inclination to whip up a couple of sets of these ? I know I'm not the only one looking for them. Thanks, Stuart.
I think so. D_REX seemed willing to talk, and was very apologetic that he had none left. I'll see what I can do. Larry is looking for a set of these, too, so we need at least two sets. Stuart.
Just use a lathe to make that. Looks pretty easy to make. If I still had access to the machine shop at Dunwoody I'd be happy to. I can make a model on Solidworks for you though, haha...
They're here ! Well, I finally found out why the inventor had gone to ground; he sold the designs to TiC and was just waiting for them to go into production. They are now available. More info here... http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1315724 Stuart.
No need now. I was looking to have a set made since they apparently couldn't be had for love nor money. Now they are available, I just ordered a set. I'm so happy, I almost shed a tear. Stuart.
