I mean seriously - this week it's been 5 or more people every night.

I even get people who drop behind me, tailgate, then turn on their brights (to which I promptly reply in turn - minus the tailgating - if traffic conditions allow).

Is this common with the GC chassis in anyone's experience - people perceiving the normal headlamps as brights??

I've got stock heads, though the bulbs are new. And there's a chance my fogs are over-lamped, but they point nearly straight down. wtf?

I don't know Bielke's HID's are properly aimed and I have no problem when he follows me ... I guess check to see there aimed right and go from there.

I get it every now and then. I have had someone drive my car (following me somewhere ie to drop off a car). I noticed that the lights on my GC seem really bright in the rear view mirror.

I get flashed, but it's only because my lights point pretty much straight out. I see great, but others aren't so happy about it.:(

And yes, the older Imprezas are dead sexy.

Yeah, stock and not touched by me. The top of the pattern basically sits horizontal. If I'm behind a car, the top of the pattern sits at the bottom edge of the rear window. They're not pointing up, no, but I know they are not pointing as low as some may prefer. No, I'm not new to headlight aiming and proper setup. I just never bothered specifically and have no tremendous need to adjust them from where they are. They are aimed decent enough really but not appropriate on the technical level if one is to get specific.

If you ever drive on backroads when its dark I suggest you align those to spec for your own safety.

This! Whoops. Didn't quite realize just how bad they were. So bad that now I'm surprised people were flashing me because my headlights were probably pointing a ways above them.

Didn't get all technical, just pointed em a bit further than the fogs reach, went for a drive and slightly readjusted. We'll see if that eliminates the flashing. Prolly will.
