Just found it today on Nasioc. http://www.mastrowrx.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=387 -Chet
Yes. It is probably the nicest tmic on the market by far. Back when I was contemplating a build, I was going to go with one of those over the Spearco.
at 719.99 I'd say stick with something known in the market that actually works....otherwise it "looks" fine
is there anyone local that has one of these? I've never heard of them. Must be one of those well kept (under-marketed) secrets
Without ambient air temps to go along with their air temps, the number are worthless. Also, after all the testing I have done with my setup, their claim about a thinner IC is also worthless. The larger IC will take less time to heatsoak. Period. Russ
I just have a v2 txs tmic. The last version before they went cheap and started getting all the crappy ones. But I can tell you that I have been running air temp probes in both of my IC's (stock and txs), and they both work the same. When they are saying that the stocker gets to hot, I say, compaired to what?? It is all relative. What you want is a IC that can match the flow of the turbo. If you are running a td04, I would stick with the stock IC, or jump up to a sti IC. I have even used my numbers in my tmic versus numbers from a fmic (Scooby02), and we are exactly the same until we were in rush hour (stop and go) traffic. Once we were moving and we both had clean air, our temps were the same. Russ
imaginary installs are my specialty... and no, I didn't realy order the thing.... it looks nice though!
