Hi, I'm filing a claim with my insurance agency to get my car repaired back into nominal condition. I'm seeking any recommendations for any really good and really decent auto body shops that specialize in Subarus. The details of the damage. 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX Rear right side of my bumper has been scraped and scratched. Front right side fender has been dented. Front bumper is totally broken apart. Front left bumper side has been dented in. Radiator Survived. Fog lights survived. Front left light didnt survive. Hood is fine. Those are the details. Fuji Recommended me to go to Raymonds auto body in st.paul which is known for servicing luxury cars. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
S3 Auto. http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30715 Give them a call. They should be able to hook you up with what ever work you need done. Even without the MNSOC discount they have good rates, although it might be worth the $10 or $15 for the MNSOC card to get the better rates ;-)
Luther Collision across from Westside Volkswagen does excellent work. A friend of mine is a painter there.
I had mine done at Raymond auto body in St. Paul. Awesome people to deal with and great work. I needed front end work, they got in a bumper cover and it was flawed, so they sent it back and got a new one they wouldnt even try to coble it. Ask for Jason he will take care of you!! Specialized? Eh. But Autoworks collsion in Rockford does the best "OEM" paint work I've ever seen (matching colors that just shouldn't be matched that well). They're pretty anal over there. They'd be who I'd take my car to. They are not cheap. Their paint work will be far better than subaru could dream of doing. Raymond autobody I know also does fine work.
Raymond's Auto Body as Fuji said. About 10 yrs ago they took my roomate's <1yr old Outback Sport that taken a serious hail storm and made it look brand new again. They were awesome. The car had been seriously dented all over bumper to bumper with some pretty nasty dents. Not just pea-sized stuff, but dents that looked like the car had been pirouetting in a batting cage.
