any stereo installers here?

i want to upgrade my speakers and add a amp. on my 06 wrx
any one experienced?

 

Do you already have an aftermarket headunit? I also assume you have all of the wiring needed for the install? I've done a lot of installs, never on a Subi though. Replacing speakers is almost always straight forward, and usually putting an amp in is as well. I'd lend a hand if you need one.

 

its actually extremely easy, especially if you already have the deck installed.
install speakers with new wires
run wires to amp
run power/ground/rca's (and forgot to mention, do what jubella2 said)
and you are pretty much done..

 

just make sure to run the power and rca's down opposite sides of the car

 

ok, i just ordered a kenwood double din stereo, front component speakers, rear speakers, and a 4 channel amp. and amp install kit.
anyone interested in installing or lending a hand with the install when i get everything?

 

Dependent on when you want to do it, I would be down.

 

ok, i was hoping you would still be interested. i don't expect to have everything by this weekend. so hopfully by the following weekend, around the 27th or 28th..
