ok, I'm gonna go with Fuji's way of coloring my own RED gauges. I never took off a Gauge Cluster B4. Mines an 02 WRX. Any hints/tips B4 I start taking it apart. The wires are just unplug then plug it again right? Thanks guys

don't be suprised if one of the gauges doesn't work anymore after you put it back in.

I've dismantled my gauge cluster many times, it still works fine. Just keep track of where your fuel needle is and line it back up when you're done.

Just fill the tank before you take it out. And if you swap (temporarily) fill the tank before you put it back in. Where to put the needle? FULL

The gas gauge should be the only one that doesn't 'zero' itself.

Really? After I swapped fuel pumps, I went to take the indiglo faces off my cluster and stupidly tweaked the gas gauge needle up and down cuz I thought it was fun (it's got a bit more resistance than the other needles). Reinstalled it with the needle all the way at empty, but after I started it up, the needle moved back up to halfway full, which was where it was before I messed around with it... I think.

Is the gauge not correct now or something?

When putting in indiglo gauges, it's impossible not to.

I just tested the fuel gauge thing a couple days ago, and I think that it would right itself on a full tank, but the needle wasn't correcting while I was sitting in the garage.
