Anybody know how to UNLOCK cell phones?

    I have Boost Mobile Cell phone and needs to be UNLOCK for T-mobile. Any body know how?

    dont think it will work. I could be wrong, but i think boost mobile uses nextels IDEN network, both are GSM based but i dont think you will pick up tmobiles towers with it.

    I believe that is correct. If you have T-Mobile, after you've been a customer for like 3 months or something, they will unlock the phone for you :)

    call up boost, if you get a nice csr they will give you the unlock code. works with AT&T 1st time got the code on the 1st try second time took me 4 calls threw out the day to get a csr to give it to me.

    ^^^+1 Two different networks... IDEN is more of a Hybrid GSM... Different frequencies I believe!

    As far as unlocking GSM cell-phones goes.... Try World of Wireless... They do it for $30 I believe, otherwise a lot times you can find software off the internetz that you might find useful!

    Any T-Mobile customer can unlock their phone for FREE from customer care as long as they have had existing service for at least 90 days... Company policy, just call customer care and they'll take care of it for ya, however, they will only have access to T-Mobile branded devices not devices from other carriers...

    thats alot of stuff to do. Ohwell i guess its not worth it then. I just like the phone but nothing special about it. Thanks anyways guys
