I know a few of the MNSubaru guys were down at MAM last year with the findtheline club (bunch of the Rochester contingent). Some friends and I are going, but I look to be the only Subaru at this point. It's a little early in the season, but it reminds me that spring is here. Should be a good event this time around. A lot of lotus' and BMW's and not as many mustangs as usual. It's a good time and a safe track, for anyone who hasn't been. Registration is open but space is limited.

Nice, thanks for the heads up. I've got a couple BMW events scheduled but it'd be nice to hit up MAM. Now I just need to get out to RA.

Always nice to have a little subaru support at these things. Easter makes it a bit tough, but I had to do at least one day. For those who haven't run with findtheline, it's a good group to run with. There is a ton of track time and it is a safe environment to get used to the track.

RA would be fun...I'm just trying to get some seat time in before I hit that track. I may also try some Porsche or BMW events at BIR.

What Pat said! I wanted to go but the Easter thing isn't gonna let it happen. NASA is back there this summer plus at the new Track near Newton at the endo of April

1fastwagon-I saw the list and it looks like its going to be a full house for the Saturaday event. Which should be alot of fun for cat and mouse game on the track. Its a little early for me, but perhaps on the second time around June 30, I might be able to tag along. Bring back some photos and video and let me know how you do this time around. Enjoy!

Yeah, sorry a few more details would have been nice for those who are new to track events. Looks like the registration is full for the Saturday event (Sunday still available to those who don't have to worry about easter sunday). Keep your eyes peeled for future events...I believe there's a July and August event. I'll try to place a reminder a little more in advance for the next one. I know there are a few others on this site that have also participated in some of the findtheline events. I went to my first track event three years ago at MAM in my 02 wrx wagon...and have been hooked ever since. Not a cheap hobby however.

Few pics from MAM this past weekend. No action shots yet, but I'll post some video out once I get it.

    Sweet ride...oh, and there's a lotus there too:) Buddy's Exige S...with mods.

If it weren't for the grey lotus in the picture, I might have been able to get some clean laps in. This guy was ego trippin out there...did not want anyone to pass. Oh, not only is it an elise, but he also has R-compounds and upgraded exhuast...still getting his arse beat.

my buddy's m coupe (the red one) had some lug nut issues and he had to stop early in the day. There was another M coupe at this event that ran one of the quickest times of the event (besides the organizers fully prepped rx-7). That wouldn't be all that weird if it weren't for the Exige S and brand new GT3 that were also there.

There is some video of the day, but not digitized yet...I'll post it when I get it. Supposedly my buddy has some good chase video of my car, we'll see.

yep, that was him. I thought he was running just a bit faster than I was. He might have run a 1:50...pretty good on street tires. A lot of guys left their R compounds at home.

Should ask Dam for a ride along. Being in that yellow car on the track with him is practically a religious experience. You are definetly likely to be searching for god out there anyway.

Was the M-coupe black and driven by a guy that shaved his head by the name of Eric?

Yeah, the black one was moving. It was amazing. I know he's had some mods done, but he was still moving. I've always wanted to ride along with Damian, but am always messing with my car or sharing war stories from the previous session. Next time.
