My computer just flat out died this morning. I suspect the harddrive failed, but to be sure I want to swap one in and see if my BIOS recognizes it. (It currently does not recognize my HDD, but it does see the DVD-R). In my nerd glory days I'd have had a few IDE HDDs laying around, but not today. If anyone has a spare IDE HDD lying around that they can loan me for all of 5 minutes, I'd greatly appreciate it.

That's what I'm talking about...you guys rock. MNDude is a hell of a drive for me, if someone brings one by Firestone that would be ideal. Thanks everyone.

I work late at a client site in South Saint Paul. I will have a few in hand just in case on my way through STP.
