Well, you get the 23 that I haven't used back, which includes alot of yours. Yours were all a little bit too big. I'm 7 short of a full load . Sizes needed if available: 475x4 480x2 486 493 The 475's I can use just one I guess and do lash checks one at a time, but the more the merrier. +/-.001 on the measurement for those...just trying to get close so I know what I need.
The buckets go over the springs/valves/retainers and it is what your camshaft lobe makes contact with inside the head. In 02-03 WRX heads, they had shimmed buckets, where the buckets were all the same size and you simply used a shim to set the lash. On the shimless buckets, the bucket has a nub inside that rests on the valve top, this nub can be of varying thicknesses and thus gets rid of the need for a shim.
