I have a guitar body I want to cut to shape. Anyone have one nearby I can use for an hour or two?

Or if you are skilled with one and have access, possibly just do the cuts for me. They are all straight lines.

Russ, the block is 1 3/4" thick Alder. Pretty soft as far as woods go. Sounds like you've got what I need, and you're close.

I was thinking about Moon-hogany, but since the entire surface is going to be painted, I decided against pretty, stainable woods. Funny you mention that too, because I was trying to think of what else could be "moon" related or fit the theme.

Unless I've got some sorta "Miss Cleo" thing happening, I swear I heard you guys have this conversation in Russ's garage long ago.

Yeah, it's one of those things that has finally come to pass. We were watching Adult Swim the other night, and one of those between show breaks came on where they were talking about how someone made Dana Snyder a ukelele with Aqua Teen Hunger Force stickers all over it or some crap like that. And Steph was like "You really need to finish that MoonMaster guitar." Uncle Sam stepped in with the save, and now I'm just working on shooting and scoring.

What are you doing using silverware at Benihana? Chopsticks, nerd. Have the waitress set them up for easy-mode for you if you need help

Ok, sounds good. Hopefully in the next week or 2 my schedule slows down a little bit some I am home and awake longer than 2 hours a day.
