Im trying to install a cat back exhaust system in my legacy GT 2005 but the midpipe isnt going onto the stock dp because of a lip that is on the stock dp. this seems to be the next big step to get over and its really irritating. if anyone could help that would be awesome.

i found out that im dumb and the "lip" was a doughnut gasket so we just got some longer bolts, got it snug and put the rest on. no leaks sounds great. dp going on soon!

think itll matter if the catback wasnt set up for a doughnut gasket? it was set up for a flat gasket that it came with. i just figured it would be easier to use longer bolts to snug it up to the gasket then when i switch the downpipe just use the flat gasket on it
