Trish will be visiting MN next week, and I have $100 of Subie Bucks sitting here unused. I'm hoping to order up some Subaru themed bits of nonsense (key fobs, torches etc) and have her pick them up while she's in town. In the past it was always easier placing orders here, so I was wondering if we still have any members working at Morries Minnetonka who can help me out. Cheers, Stuart.
Erik is still there and i believe that Brian is still there too. Let me know if you need a phone # for the parts dept Stooooooo.
I'm pretty sure Brian in parts (Bielke55) is not working there anymore, but Erik aka Subaru Parts Jesus aka AWDimprezaL and the other Brian (Driftin240) do still
Hey readymix, how're you doing ? Nice to see you guys haven't changed at all Thanks for the info. I'll drop Erik a PM tomorrow.
I'm doing well, fella. Got married last year. Sold the Subaru and bought a 350z roadster. Otherwise, I still help moderate this place How are things on the other side of the world?
Congrats on getting married. Sorry to hear about the Subaru. But everybody needs a change from time to time. We are living in interesting times over here. Of course, the economy is still in the crapper, but we're carrying on as best we can. Personally, I'm hoping to see Syria sorted out quickly. As you may know, my folks live in Cyprus. That's the little island at the end of the Med just to the west of Syria. You'll have been seeing it on the maps of the region the news programmes show. I was there myself recently helping mum move house, so there was kind of a tense air as the US, Russia, UK and France all started moving their seaborne chess pieces into place. For an added bit of spice, Syria sent a couple of bombers to Cyprus last week. They probably weren't up to anything serious, but the RAF still had to scramble a couple of jets to chase them away again. Luckily that was the day I got home, so Trish didn't go too ballistic when she found out about that.
Yikes! Yeah hopefully the stupid doesn't spill over into Cyprus or any of the neighboring areas. I'd like for it to solve itself, but from experience, that doesn't happen.
Ooh, Trish is going through a massive pile of paperwork and just found another $100 Subie Bucks cheque. She's going to need to take a bigger suitcase
This is just getting silly now. We've just found two more $100 Subie Bucks cheques. Sadly, one expired last year. So now I'm up to $300. That's a *lot* of key fobs. I may have to treat myself to something fancier just to use them up
What all can you get with them as far as merchandise goes? If you can get stuff off of subarugear.com, there's alot of good swag that you could get with $300 buckaroos!
That's the plan. I've ordered stuff from there before like water bottles, mugs, torches etc, so that's what I'm expecting to do this time.
You were right. While I can't use the currently expired one, the nice lady I just spoke to at Chase says they will send out a replacement one for me in a few days. Oh great, now I have to find more stuff I want
