    A friend is selling his RS I'm not sure if it's a 99 or 2k, but it's black and completely stock. He's asking $7,000 for it. I can get more details if some one is honestly interested. I was going to buy it, but we're buying a new house so all my $$$ is going bye bye.

    I remember black RS' came as MY01 and maybe MY99, but totally not MY00.

    Really? I thought MBP was available in 2000. It is available in 99... at least I think my car is black.

    IIRC, the only colors available for the USDM MY00 Impreza 2.5L RS are:
    Blue Ridge Pearl
    Aspen White
    Sedona Ridge Pearl
    Silver-Thorn Metallic

    Subaru brought back black for the model year 2001. ;)

    Well I'm not sure what year it is, but it is black and it is a 2.5RS I'll get more info from him.

    look at the 10th digit of the VIN#, if its a x its 99 if is a Y its 00. and if its sedan its gotta be 00 but if its a coupe it could be both.
