That looks like the radio shack box I used once for an electronic project. I wonder what else is from the Shack... Can you build the whole thing?
Cool. This thing looks like it was built by Spiider -- one of the integral dudes who brought forth the openecu revolution before it (openecu) even really existed.
I heard when using these aftermarktet DCCD controllers you get a much larger range of control. kinda like lock --> 75% instead of lock -->65%
I've got the auto version. I just need my car to run  The manual version should only be two wires on the transmission, a power, and a ground. Piece of cake. You cannot have more than a 65% rear bias. That is with the diff all the way open. The controller varies it from fully open (65% rear) to (50/50) and full lock. More rear bias is not possible.
This is waaaaaaay clever stuff... http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=722841. Only last week I 'discovered' the MoTec drop in replacement unit, never having heard of such a thing before. Apparently, the WRC cars are doing the same sort of voodoo on all three diffs simultaneously. How much do I *not* want to be the guy working out those formulas ? Stuart.
