smith3177: whats so special? well i can tell you, no i didnt just go on google maps and hi light some roads. i grew up in minnesota and ilove to build rally cars and race cars and any thing with wheels that goes fast. I never was a fan of the quarter mile i dont think it takes much skill to drive in a straight line. Recently i was organizing a rally race for me an some friends and i made maps of all the best roads around that i have found over the years so yes i have driven every one. When i say best roads i judge them on how many turns ,how fast you can go, how populated the area is( important if you plan on having some real fun) and general fun of it. I thought maybe some other people would like to know were some sweet spots are so have fun! these are public roads so drive at your own risk. some of them are paved and some are some really windey dirt back roads, this one is a particularly windey road that runs along ariver that is fun to kick up some dust.
lookin at his feedback... looks like he bought a 97 impreza! those routes are prolly subaru tested and approved, ha!
I am more than a little upset that he listed SCCA in the item title. This would give a very bad impression of the club if some moron buys a "stage", goes out and wrecks with his map having SCCA on it. SCCA would not be affiliated with this. Sounds like he knows a few fun roads to drive on and wants to see if he can make money off it. I guess there is a sucker born every minute.
If they repaved all of skyline, I would probably die of excitement. I've said for several years, if I were "bill gates rich" I would pay to have that whole road repaved, and all the trees trimmed back. Of course after payign for that I would reserve the right to close it to normal traffic on occasion at night ...dreams...
