    you don't see white 04 sti around too often and one of my friends wants me to look at this one for him. not a fan of buying modded cars but if its done by the right people and have a little background info on the owner i would feel much better about even going to look at it for him. the description of it makes me lol and the guy sound like he doesn't have a clue he could of parted out some parts or just not finished buying stuff for it.

    so anyone know anything about it?

    But from just reading the article alone, I would say that the car is probably a pile o ****!

    Also, he says he gave $3500 for them to install the pistons and rods, then another $4000 for the motor work? $7500 for the block?:eek3:

    THERE IS TOO MUCH TO LIST! THERE IS MORE! THIS IS JUST A START, you don't want to know how much I have invested in this car parts and labor! If you add up just what I've listed in the add, the DVD player by its self was 1000 installed! rims 1500 with the tires! pistons and rods installed, over 3500!$$, headers up pipe, down pipe cost me 1500! The clutch job, fly wheel and racing clutch installed 2000$$, new block, crank with extra pistons installed 4,000$ you can figure it! lullz

    that is why i think he has no clue. some one has to know the kid and know something about this car?

    he might not know anything about the car, but the people that worked on it probably do... you would hope.

    I kinda like the wheels.

    it also says it's got all new subaru parts, including rods. then later says it's got eagle rods.



    then again, it also says listed by a dealer......WMC?



    I vote tool, but might be worth looking at.

    How much is a pull at RS? I say we pool together and pay for a pull at RS and have him dyno this car and see if it even comes close to 300hp, let alone 400hp. Then say that you want to drop a 5 thousand off the price of the car because you thought it would be 400, and it was really about 250hp.

    believe it or not I met this guy. my impression was that he paid to have someone do the work. I'm unsure as to how much whp it has though. hope that helps matt

    yeah i know it doesn't make 400hp. just wanted to know if anyone new him and had any info on it. the way the add is i would never suggest buying it to anyone but if someone new more about it i would like to hear more.

    I went to check out the car for my brother, the original owner of the car sent someone in place of him and says car was tuned somewhere in MN. I test drove the car and it lags like a piece of crap and he's only running a VF39, upgraded injectors, TBE, an spt intake and no boost gauge.

    P.S. Says if you blow on the filter of the SPT the car chokes out and dies and they don't know what kind of suspension is on the car other that it's aftermarket.

    Honestly it depends on who did the work. If someone got rid of a few of the bits it could be worthwhile.


    But like I said, it all depends on who did it.
