My car is finally done and kellys car should be done real soon, so Phil from element tuning will be flying down to tune Kellys, Mine and another persons from Omaha nebraska's car. He will be here on Aug 31st-. He will be doing the tunes at Rs motors. 1 day is full but he has time to do 2 more cars. if anyone wants to take the other spot let me know. he will only tune Hydra and Utec __________________
Talked to Ron at Rs today and reserved the 15th of May, now I just have to get one more person to get their car tuned. So far its snbrd4ever(Kelly), me and a Guy from Omaha nebraska
Its a go! Phil will be here May 15th, right know he only wants to do Charles, Kellys and My car. Mine will take 4hrs, kelly 3hrs and charles 2-3hrs, so thats the whole day. If anyone wants to be a back-up let me know. Rich
Plans have changed, I had fitment problems with my uppipe and kelly is still waiting on his pistons. So the tune is pushed ahead another week or so
rich if you could let me know when the new date for the tune is confirmed. i would like to get my car in on this. I was talking with Matt Z. today and it sounds like you have a pretty nice set up. Cant wait to see it. Also the guy you have tuning the cars, can he tune link? I would think he would cause if im right link and hydra are close if not the same set up. let me know.

I talked to TWE yesterday and the pistons should arrive tomorrow and the cams should arrive by monday at the earliest. The plan so far is to go to Headwaters tomorrow then after Headwaters drive down to Mike's to start putting it back together. I hope the car will be done by the end of May

I sent my turbo kit back to godspeed and told them if they cant make one that kits they can have it. They are going to send me another kit next week, hopefully this works. that will be the third try. so im not ready either.if this kit fits my car should be ready real soon after it gets here

Phil charges $150 per hour for tuning, a normal tune will be between 1.5hrs and 2 hrs, plus $100 per hour for dyno time that will have to be paid to Rs motors, right now there is an opening for thursday the 31st, im not sure if Phil will be doing any tuning on Friday
Well... My turbo decided to kick the bucket on Thursday, so I just received my GT30R today and it's going to take some hacking to get it to fit (mostly flanges and rotating it). And I'm going to let Rich explain about his car... :dunno:
He's at work, he'll be back around 4ish. Lets just say we're renting a u-haul to take it back to the cities :emo:
Its on a trailer ready to go back to the cities. I went for a ride on saturday and it started knocking real bad. not sure what is wrong this time, but its not good. dccd light is flashing green and the car wont fire, just keeps turning over. Thats all I know now
yeah just keep in ind the evo will break too if you mod it. my brothers evo has been in the shop 4 times before it got to 10,000 miles.
Yeah, that too. Hopefully when you drive your new evo off the lot you can make it to a transmission repair shop before the clutch gives out.
pfft rich you dont want an evo...i beat a stock one the other night with my tiny little vf11 snail and 6psi
2.65 and you need to break it in, and freaking trailer it to pdx.... camp out in their lot and refuse to leave untill they put down 800whp.
turns out my hydra got fried from installing the battery in the trunk and not having a good ground to it. luckily Andrew from HYDRA EMS only charged me $200 for a new one. that should be back tomorrow or monday, hopefully the car starts and we can see where all the noise is comeing from, and go from there. ndrew says the hes 99.9% sure that the hydra going out didnt have anything to do with the motor blowing, so atleast thats good
