Anyone tried dying their interior?

I found this link where they seem to say that this method works pretty good. Has anyone ever tried it? Does it hold up?

EDIT: To clarify I'm talking like dash, door panels, etc, etc. Not seats or carpet.

 

Ask Idget. He's been doing a few of these and it looks really good.

 

I did this with se7enrex a few years back. Maybe we didn't do it right, but it made the interior fabric "abrasive" as though it was like a sandpaper. Not sure if its a die as much as a paint...

 

In my opinion, you don't want a perfectly smooth finish, that makes it look like spraypaint on a Neon or a Civic. A little texture is where its at.
