BitTornado is just a BitTorrent client. BitTorrent is definetly the way to go!

    Matt,

IRC was the bomb back in my college day. It's still very much alive and kicking.

What kind of help are you looking for? Ask away... as Jordan said... BitTorrent is pretty much a program you download off the net that will automatically recognize it's own kind of files when you request for the files to download.

XDCC is just one of the many command process used in IRC. Example:
/xdcc nick - show users XDCC commands
/xdcc nick LIST - show users list of files to download.
/xdcc nick SEND # - get users files number #
/xdcc nick VERSION - show users XDCC version.

Check out a couple of the site here for more info on IRC: www.mirc.com and www.ircle.com

Have fun and do ask away if you're confuse.

I leave a detached screen session up on IRC EFNET 24/7. I got busted for using SSH at work so I cant get on during the day anymore :( Usually on during the night however. You can find me in #QWA and I also started #Subaru on efnet. Just look for Pagan

You got busted for using ssh? LOL

I am in #mnscc with MN Sport Compacts guys all day during work on dalnet...even though dalnet sucks.

Those of you who have a beef with MNSC people: please leave your comments out of this thread, they are already well-known and off-topic.
