I'm bored as **** right now, and I'm sure i'll be bored as **** later. plus, it's too cold for my ass to voluntarily drive to st. paul to stand on the side of the road and watch cars drive by. So, seeing as how i TOTALLY SPACED on this movie's release, and am a huge Clive Owen fan, i'm gonna go see "Shoot 'Em Up" Where: Southdale Mall Movie Theater (AMC) When: 9:25 PM Coming? Post here! Questions? Post here, or call my Cell phone after 8pm (can't answer calls at work) My Cell #: Nine 5 2-2I2- Seven 69 Eight I'll be posting this over on the MNAutoX boards, and the MNSportCompacts Boards.
P.S. Probably going to grab some dinner/beer before the movie, thinking ruby tuesday's in the mall. it's right next door to the theater. if anyone wants to join me for that as well, i'll probably be there around 8:30
I saw this the day after it came out. its an.... "interesting" movie. I dont think I have ever seen more people die directly or indirectly from carrots in my life. FYI: story = pointless, violence = plentiful
I liked it. It was perfectly cheesy without being retarded lame, made me laugh and had some pretty good action. And I too cannot recall seeing so many "death by carrot"s!
Finally saw this last night. There's nothing like a good action flick, and this is nothing like a good action flick. Yeah, the mindless violence was fairly entertaining for a while, but it wound up getting kind of tedious after a while. I understand that it is probably meant as some kind of satire, or a jab at Hollywood action flicks, but it was sooooooo OTT, that message just got lost in all the outright silliness. I think I'm glad I saw it, but this is unlikely to ever grace my DVD shelf. And yes, I think I'll keep a bag of carrots handy in the car in future, just in case anyone tries to carjack me. Stuart.
