I get free pizza all the time. in fact, that's what I eat most of the time......but then again......I work for Domino's

this is interesting, I wonder what it is. maybe just a promo to get more people to order online, (which would be awesome. save us an assload of time).

btw, the charge wasn't for the tax, it's for the delivery fee. I hope you tipped your driver. there's no better way to ensure a flaming paper bag on your front porch than to stiff a driver on a free pizza.:laugh:

which reminds me. it's about time to go pay a visit to my friend here in town who shorted me a week ago or so

^^^I feel ya on that one. workin' for davannis on riverside is hell when it comes to delivering to campus. Broke ass college students (me included). We remember who tips and who doesn't. Who's pizza do you think gets priority? if ya don't tip, you can guarantee it isn't yours.

    My rule of thumb...

    $2.00 tip...1-2 pizza
    $3.00 tip...3-4 pizza
    $5.00 tip...5+

    ;)

    Pizza better still be hot!

Domino's online ordering would be cooler if they were more like Papa Johns
    meaning
if they just sent you an email confirmation and showed up with the pizza instead of having to call and confirm the order.

If they have started doing that, it may be worth ordering from there next time :)

Well, generally I can accept $2.00 for your basic order. Anything under that...especially the change on the dollar, and you're not in my high priority list. If it's a fluke, and you usually tip, I'll let it slide; once. Otherwise, it's percentage based. At least 10% on larger orders. Otherwise, we're not happy campers. If we have to walk a ways to get where you're at, you better put up! If we have to wait forever for you to get there, or to meet us, even though we've called you and let you know when we're gonna' be there, and are there when we said...you better put up. We cannot usually resolve your order discrepancies. Don't yell at me because you didn't get something, call and talk to a manager. We have to drive around all day, with complete asshats who don't understand the basic rules of the road, and our job is fairly dangerous. So don't waste our time, and we won't waste yours. PAY ME!!!

I usually tip about 4-5$ regardless of how much pizza they bring.

Consider what you would want to be paid for a service (not only pizza delivery), and pay likewise.
