    Only 200 yards to break rushing record for the year. Two games left and one of them Packers with no defense. It can be done. I am super excited for him after everything he went through this off season. He is a beast.

    Barry was the greatest in my lifetime... Except he got caught from behind a lot... Swap him with Emmitt and then guess who would be the NFL all time leading running back

    AP is the man. The fact that the Vikes beat down the Texans is huge!!!! Green Bay is going down next week! Thats right Matt, they are going down!

    Edit: I have had several beers over the course of the Vikings game and can't be held responsible for any comments made in this thread. ;)

    Were the Texans benching starters? Sorry for my ignorance, I was at work...

    Will the Packers bench people next week? We will see, but it would be the only way that the Vikings would have a real chance. Any team can beat any other team on any given day, but anyone in their right mind would tell you that the Packers would own the Vikings in a playoff game scenario.

    I have enough butternut squash soup in a bag in my freezer to make a nice snack for you and your wife...and even some pancetta for you to render and put in it. You can probably find me a 6 pack of Deschutes Inversion IPA if your purple pride has gotten the best of you...

    It will be even sweeter when he breaks it against the Packers. He ran for 210 against the Pack in their first meeting. He only needed 294 in the last two games to break the record and he managed 86 yards in Sunday's beat down of the Texans. So your sayin there is a chance.

    Texans played starters and they needed to win too. Vikings played a good team football, everybody stepped up.
