My Mods on my 02 WRX are full exhaust 2'5 all the way, i still have the stock DP and i have HKS SSQ BOV. so my question is can i still run Cobb stage 2 with it? should run stage 1 instead ? My Uncle who works at CarX says it should be fine but still i would like to ask around.

    Thanks solomon

Buy the ERZ and do some custom work for the $$$ Nathan....

That's what sidework is all about. Making money to do more mods to your own stuff.

ooh. I'll likely take you up on that. I have a 2-piece and will have the high-flow cat for sale soon and likely the divorced heat coated stromung 1st half for sale as well if yr interested.

OP, apparently some of the AP maps are tuned with their high-flow cat, but using a non-catted seems to work alright. lots of threads on here on catted vs non-catted.

I have 2 catless cars. One smells because it runs rich at idle, the other one doesn't smell at all.

Copy the link to the pic on the site. Post link in message.

here's an example....actually a very cheap dp, never heard of it and know nothing about it....

actually, does anyone know of this dp? just another cheap knock-off?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BELL...011QQitemZ320073903789QQrdZ1#ebayphotohosting

BTW- As people have mentioned, non-catted pipes can be smelly. You'll notice even more smell if you go catless up-pipe. do yourself a favor, do both at the same time, then you'll get the full benefit of your stage 2 map....and save time/money on installation!!

350 seems pretty steep. go to clubwrx.net and look under the vendor section/engine performance. There you will find many suppliers with good deals right now.

Anyone wanna chime in on the pros/cons of a divided WG dp? Any scientific conclusions to support these claims? I would just pull "decreases air turbulence," from the top of my head, but don't really know much about the difference between the two.

yep...but I cant spend anything this year... family budget... with trip to Australia for 5 weeks etc...

so I can work the system as my wife says by horse trading....ha ha ha

I was gonna get the bellmouth off of (Deride)??? at the ice races, but I would still have to press bend the rest...

i would guess actual divorced w/g with pipe that ends up downstream would be the highest of flow, but im sure its worth a 1/4 whp

My car spooled a little quicker than Dreams with the same turbo and supporting mods(my dp is divorced his was bellmouth). However up top he made like 2 additional hp. Spool v hp....you pick.

Well, my .02 is that if this is on a wrx with the td04 turbo, there will be no difference. Hell, I would better there isn't a difference running the hks pipe. Now you get into a 2.5 or some larger turbos then you might get a bit of a difference.
