Are there seals between the hood scoop and intercooler?

    Is there some seals or baffling that should be between the hood and intercooler?

    My friends newer STI has some gaskets...seems like it would be a good idea.

    I'm wondering if they are missing on a 2002 WRX, FYI.

    If it has a aftermarket intercooler then you can't use one

    I finally found my box of scoop parts. I have a factory WRX scoop, splitter, and bellows. The scoop is painted MBP.

    Without the baffle you will see signifigantly higher intake temps.
