Are you f***ing man enough for a set of Work VS-XX on the cheap!?

I want these gone. I want tires before the warm weather hits, and this is where the cash has to come from to do it.

For sale here, a set of 18x8 +47 Work VS-XX 3 piece wheels, 5x100 bolt pattern. One of them has some rash due to Aegis having a long day at work and misjudging a turn. Otherwise the rest are in great shape. They have a set of Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tires on them 235/40/18 with low mileage. I want to estimate about 10-15k max on them. For those of you that know me and my old WRX, you know that mileage estimate is probably pretty close to correct as I drove it only on weekends, in the summer, and not very far. I had winter wheels and tires, so there was no need to go out on these. The last year that I owned the car, I only put 1800 miles on it.

Anyway. The price I'm setting these at is retarded, so it is FIRM. No lowballers, no O.B.O. If you are thinking about making offers and pissing me off, first I suggest you go look at what a set of these costs new right now. And then tack on a set of tires.

Price is 1600.00 FIRM. Summer is around the corner, and for right around the cost of a new set of Rotas and tires, you can have some JDM 3 piece Works with tires.

 

For reference, Evasive Motorsports (came up on Google search) is selling this size for between 700-800 dollars PER WHEEL. Price fluctuates depending on finish.

 

Yep, you should be getting your tax returns soon. You could piss it away on some knock off wheels and tires, or you could have these.

I apologize to anyone with Down's Syndrome for comparing them to Hella Flushers. It was wrong to put you on the level of subhumans like that. And by subhumans, I mean the Hella Flush lifestyle types.

 

I filed my taxes on Sunday. And yeah, I have had these up for sale for over a year. Nobody has taken them. I am at the point now where I am sick of having them in my garage.
The other problem, as mentioned earlier in the thread, the market for correctly sized wheels and tires for cars is slowly closing as more attention whore 'lifestylers' are buying 18x11's for their WRX and stretching 225s on them.

I want them gone. If you want to pay more than the asking price because you feel bad, I do accept charity.

We'll see if all the people in this thread are hand raisers first. I'd prefer to hand these off local if I can. I honestly don't think anyone here has the stones to buy these though. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

 

You can get them in several different widths. I love these wheels and have always admired them. I would own these if they would work on my car.

 

None of the pics I have do them any justice really. For whatever reason, the day I put them on for this BBQ thing, the car looks like it is riding like a monster truck, which was never the case. But whatever, these are the only pics I can seem to find of them on my car. I think I have some of them bolted up to Steph's car as well, I'll have to search around.

 

And yeah, these aren't going to be all deep dish because the wheel sizes and specs for Subaru don't really lend themselves to deep lips.

 

Another thing to consider, if you are looking for something wider with a deeper lip or whatever, these are 3 piece wheels. You can always have them rebarrelled to whatever size you want. Want them to be 18x9 with an inch more lip? Buy a set of 2" 40 hole outer lips for 18" wheels, unbolt the face, separate the barrels, replace the outer lip, seal up the barrel, bolt up the face. Good to go. While you have the faces off, if you don't like them in silver and prefer to go the played out and tasteless route, you can always hose them down in black plasti dip or some other tacky color before reassembly. Bolts can be swapped out for gold or black or whatever if that's your thing. It's really up to you, that's kindof the point of 3 piece wheels.

They sell outer lips. If you buy these and want them to be wider, there are places that sell the outer lips.
