Bought these for my engine build, and have decided to use OEM bolts instead. They are brand new in the box... never even been threaded into anything.

I unfortunately didn't have my block torque plate bored/honed, and I have read that this is more critical with ARP studs due to their higher clamp load which equates to more distortion in the block. I plan to stay under 400whp (probably closer to 300-350whp) so I didn't really figure the ARP's were that necessary anyways.

No longer for sale! Keeping the ARP's.

Took some measurements and found that the ARP studs do warp the cylinder slightly. I found it to be about 0.0005" ovalized with the thrust side having a larger clearance. I did not get around to measuring the warpage using the OEM bolts, but I'm assuming I would see ovalization again just maybe not quite as much as 0.0005".
