arrgg.... gotta write 3 essays tonight

just wanted to let you know that while your all enjoying your friday evening i have to write (start to finish) 3 essays that need to be in the mail tommorow.

w00t 2 down 1 to go. figures i leave the hardest one for last. "describe how your life experiences set you apart from others" doh... easy topic but can only be 1 page max. (250 words)

 

finished FTW! just got everything compiled and stuck in the mail box (i wont be up in time tommorow lol) hopefully my essays are coherrent being they were done so late at night. anyone else doing any late night homework?

 

You should change the title to "I procrastinated and want to record the last few hours of turning in my essay"

Man, you did this overnight? You must be a zombie by now. Good luck with papers. If you can, get some rest and proofread the papers when you get back up. You'll have a fresh mind to review it for errors and its relevance to the topic.

Can not believe you are awake. Way to late to be up. I feel for you though. I just got loaded with 7 asignment due next week (the week before finals)... WTF! Dang prof need to space the work out a little and not wait till the last minute to pile it on. To top that off I have a quiz and two tests next week also.

 

^ ohh yeah it just piles up at the end of the semster. i had 2 or 3 presentatins last week, alogn with a test or two. this next week i have 2 presntations, a financial statement project due, a quiz, and a exam. oohh yeah and another paper.

 

it's college, you should know by now!!!!

 

250 words constitutes an essay now??

Jesus god man, no wonder our society is circling the drain, kids aren't learning ANYTHING in school anymore.

Probably a short essay. All semester long I completed 4 take-home essays that the teacher expected 7-10 pages each of (business ethics course I loved that class). It really depends on which class the essay is for.

 

You can hardly put together a decent paragraph on the topic he was assigned in 250 words, let alone an essay. Maybe it's just that my master's thesis was 120+ pages and the fact that I'm pretty verbose in general, I don't understand how you could ever write a response of any quality in only 250 words.

I totally agree. it is damn near impossible to get an idea cross in 250 words. these essays were for a college application. so they are nto course work. if they were i am sure i owuld have completed them the day before they were due. lol

 

OIC. It must be an essay that their Affirmative Action Program wanted to see. I support Affirmative Action programs.

AA helps choose the "less fortunate" people with the same backgrounds/skills/grades as their classmates who have "more fortunate" lives.

 

"Less fortunate" can mean a lot of things.

 

Ohhhh, a college application. That makes more sense. They never give you much space to write anything either. Mostly they are just looking to see that you can write coherently.

In your case I would highly recommend using a spellchecker or dictionary!!! lawlz, just kidding.

as for the whole AA mess, i dont agree w/ it. is the point of the essays to ensure that the applicants have had experience in leadership, and have had positive experiences. last i knew the essays were a way of weeding out the unqualified.

oohh yeah the late night essay writing continues. finished my speech essay last night at 2am. and i gotta one do for my hist. o rocknroll class that will be my late night project tonight.
